Archibat HR Asia is looking for an ON-SITE ARCHITECT for a well know UK RETAIL ARCHITECTURE PRACTICE to work on a project based in Tianjin.
Missions:
- To provide support to the Site team leader and under instruction from the aforementioned carry out duties in order to deliver the project requirements.
- To liaise with and support the design tam based in the Hong Kong office throughout the construction period.
- To understand the design principles of the Interior Design scheme to assist the Site team leader in the day to day liaison with the Contractor’s site queries, suppliers and client etc.
- Under the direction of the Site team leader review materials, work samples, contractor’s technical submission (materials, shop drawings, technical data) and construction insofar as it conforms to the design intent and report finding accordingly.
- Coordinate and liaise with other consultants to ensure the design will suit site conditions.
- Assist with resolution on site adjustments, discrepancies and clashes with E&M and structural works with client and consultants site team.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and up to date drawings and documentation records.
- Assist in the proper issuance of documents with dated issue sheets translating all written English instructions into Chinese when and where required by the Site team leader.
- To support on-site meetings, progress meetings and inspections during the operating hours of the site.
- Under instruction from the Site team leader attend factory or workshop inspections as necessary.
Requirements: - Bachelor in Architecture or above - 3 to 5 years working with on-site experience preferred - Skills in AutoCAD, Powerpoint, Excel, Words, Photoshop and Hand Sketching. - Good command of English, Fluent in Mandarin
