Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties are typical of the position, but are not all encompassing. Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.
1. Manage, maintain, and grow existing supplier base by developing long-term professional relationships with key suppliers.
2. Expedites purchased goods and services as required and tracks supplier’s deliveries.
3. Accurately maintains the vendor data base in current system.
4. Continual research of potential suppliers of goods and services.
5. Negotiate and buy goods and services in a timely manner.
6. Coordinates purchasing requirements directly with the client.
7. Occasional travel may be required.
