This is your chance to help drive the worldwide adoption of Autodesk products for the building industry. As a Product Designer for the Building Solutions Division’s Shanghai design team, you will be responsible for the design and specification of building mechanical, electrical, and plumbing product localization projects. Specifically, you will analyze and document local market requirements and develop detailed specifications to support the development of the product content and templates.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and document detailed requirements for product localization based upon market requirement provided by product management Work with local subject matter experts to clarify requirements where necessary With product management, prioritize requirements and establish release goals for localized content and templates to support business objectives. Create and deliver detailed content and template specifications to be used by development for content creation Work with development to drive the successful implementation of specifications. At staged intervals, validate content and templates are implemented to specification to ensure quality Maintain content and template creation guidelines for all localized product releases Identify and implement practices and processes to improve productivity and the quality of specifications and the resulting products
Skills required for success:
Fluency in the English language Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrable experience with CAD applications Intense customer focus and orientation and an understanding of the building industry customer A high degree of technical literacy, the ability to digest new technology quickly, and the ability to convey complex technical details Work independently, manage multiple tasks, and set priorities Interact with and influence others effectively A technical writing sample and successful completion of a design simulation is required
