The Position Reporting to the Sr. Piping Engineer, the Piping Engineer will be in charge of piping design for process water and wastewater treatment plants. For each project, the Piping Engineer will be assigned to a dedicated design team under the leadership of a lead design engineer. His/her main responsibilities will comprise the following: Prepare detailed piping specifications, PFD for distribution loop, isometric and support drawings, piping and fittings material summary. Stress calculation skill for the pipe support is a must. Prepare technical documentation for consultation of piping suppliers and sub-contractors. Technical evaluation of suppliers and sub-contractors proposals. Recommendation to lead design engineer. Prepare detailed bill of materials including all the materials and standard (ISO, DIN, ASME) information Familiar with pipe material application (Cooper, Stainless Steel, Carbon steel with/without lining, FRP, PE, PP, UPVC, CPVC, Duplex, double containment pipe…) Familiar with different pipe connection standard(ANSI/DIN Flange and NPT/BSP/PT/G thread) Prepare installation procedures Support site supervision team during installation works Prepare as-built drawings
